Abstract

This article analyzes the discursive behavior of deictic verbs in oral samples of speakers of the city of Santiago de Cuba, taking into account the linguistic and extralinguistic environment in which are these forms and the intentions of the sender that lead him to his employment. The study shows that these linguistic forms are of interest, both from the point of view of grammatical theory and the perspective of discursive behavior, as they acquire referential fullness within the pragmatic context in which they are used.
